So today Ryan set out for what is going to be a long lonely weekend for me. He works a late night tonight and then Pune tomorrow, so i guess its going to be just me in this big lonely house AGAIN for 3 days, BOOO!!!! Brett is heading to Bangkok for SIM and Scott is still back in the USA....Mostly i am worried that i am going to start thinking to much, and i have been doing that a lot lately! What's that saying....idle hands.....
Today, after Ryan left, Brett talked me into going into town on my scooter. Due to the scary bus stop i haven't been driving very far from home, and that has kept me from all of the shops and malls...So with some coaxing from Brett i decided to take the plunge, and today i actually drove all over Hyderabad!!!!! I did it!!!! I even drove through the bus stop that i was so afraid of, and it really wasn't that scary! Brett was great, he kept me within his sight at all times, and i am happy that he was the first one to take me into town because he is such a seasoned rider and he was very patient! He also took me up a new road that i have never been on that reminded me so much of driving up in Beverly Hills!!! It was an amazing view of the city, and for a moment i was not sure what country i had driven in to as i passed some of the biggest most beautiful homes i have ever seen here! I had to concentrate on driving though so i didn't sight see much, i want to go back with my camera....Unbelievable and beautiful, this city keeps showing me new sides of it and i keep falling more and more in love!!!!!
I don't think that i will drive that far from home alone ever, but it was exhilarating to have accomplished it and i now feel even more at home in my fair city of Hyderabad!
