Today was one of those days that everything just fit together and fell into place! It felt like a quiet day, hanging out with friends and goofing off non stop...For a brief moment i forgot that i was so far from home!
Ryan, Scott and I spent half the day riding around Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills (my favorite part of town). We ran a few errands and enjoyed a relaxed lunch, and the streets were quiet due to the extreme heat, so we really had no traffic to deal with! It was warm, but that was all the more reasons to go faster on the bikes!!!! On our way home we picked up an inflatable pool and a blow up pool chair, Scott and i bartered with the women and only paid a few bucks for both!
Ryan and Scott spent the rest of the afternoon on the porch relaxing in the hanging chairs and soaking their feet in the pool...Gretchen and i relaxed in the nice cool A/C house and chatted, Brett who had a long day took a nap...Our small little "community" was enjoying a day of comradery, it was paradise!!!
Tonight Ryan and I went and saw my very first local film, which had been hailed a sellout 6 weeks in a row...It was called "Arunduti" and it was supposed to be a very scary horror flick, well....it was scary with the bad overacting, the blue screen scenes and horrible computer graphics....Ryan and i were laughing through the whole thing, it was so entertaining that it didn't even bother me that the whole thing was in Telugu (the local dialect)!!!!
Days like this make it easy to forget that i am 8000 miles from home....
