Ryan and i have truly enjoyed each others company more and more each day, and i find myself sad and lonely when he has to go on his overnights. I love that our relationship has come to this, and that we are so strong and enjoy each others company so much that it is no fun to even spend a day apart! He spends so much time telling me how beautiful i am and when you are huge pregnant there is nothing better than knowing your husband thinks you are the hottest thing around. He is such an amazing man! He spends time with the baby, or should i say belly, every day either talking to Baby P or playing the guitar for the baby. It melts my heart every time and the baby really does respond to his voice!
We have been busy with getting ready to move and the official date will be the 3rd of March so i really need to get packing, but i am truly unmotivated. Although it is nothing like moving in the US where we have an entire house full of belongings, it is still quite the undertaking! All of our furniture we purchased was delivered yesterday to the new flat and that makes life easier. I cant wait to sleep on our brand new soft bed, the bed we have at our villa might as well be a concrete floor with a blanket on it, and being so pregnant it would be nice to have a soft bed!
Believe it or not, time is actually flying for me. I feel like time is getting away from me and the need to prepare for the birth of our baby seems to be running down on me! Today i spent hours washing all of the baby's clothes and blankets so that they will be ready for the big day. Ryan and i have enjoyed shopping for all things baby and Ryan who is usually very budget oriented when it comes to spending is open to all of the baby shopping and sometimes i even have to tell him no!
Yesterday was a hard day. I had blood work in the morning and then we had to go to the new flat to over see the deliveries before returning to the Hospital for my bi weekly visit. I am not sure if it was the go go go of the day, or just by fate, but when we returned to the hospital i started to experience painful Braxton Hicks contractions accompanied by extreme pelvic pressure. My Dr felt that we should investigate due to the pain and so i had 20 minutes of fetal monitoring and contraction monitoring. I was experiencing nearly constant contractions and some were quite strong, but they were still only Braxton Hicks. Unfortunately for me i have dealt with constipation since the day i got pregnant and now that the baby is much bigger and head down in my pelvis this has become a painful problem. For anyone who has never experienced pregnancy constipation not only do i envy you, since i am on 7+ solid months of it, but i also could never fully explain the discomfort to you. My Dr wants me to take OTC medication to try to fix this problem because it is now becoming an issue in my pregnancy. The baby is fine and other than my discomfort this seems to not be a serious problem at this point, another answered prayer! Praise God! At this moment i remain 0% effaced and 0mm dilated. I am still not gaining much weight but the belly is growing and for now all looks good. My blood pressure and Blood sugar levels all seem to be staying in the normal ranges and so i am allowing myself to indulge a little more when it comes to pregnancy cravings! I have experienced so much in this pregnancy and i cant thank God enough for it. He definitely made sure i went through the whole package and even though there are days where i may not feel the best it has all been so worth it and i honestly wouldn't change a thing!
