She is really happy about these passport photos attempts
Passport photo winner!!!!!!Having a baby in the house is so life changing! Just when I think i have her figured out she completely changes her routine! She is such a joy and such a stinker and i just cant help but love her more and more each day! She was doing great with sleep until last night and then she decided that 3 hours of sleep at a time was just wayyyyyyyy to much and that 1 to 2 hours was more than adequate. Now she has decided that half an hour naps should do when she was also averaging 2 to 3 hours on those. When she gets fussy she doesn't want to eat, she doesn't want to play, she just wants to be grumpy! Awe the joys of having a newborn LOL.
Ryan and i both look like the walking dead today as we both got less sleep than her last night. All i can figure is that this must be a growth spurt and she is just needing more from us, and after all that is what we are here for. She is the boss, at least for the next few years so we aren't complaining! I just hate it when she cries and nothing i do can sooth her, it makes me feel so bad for her! She is so sweet and i never want to see her sad or hurting!
I cancelled my 2 week postpartum follow up appointment today because i knew that there was no way Ella Mae could handle being at the office for hours with as much sleep, or lack there of, as she has had. I will just have to go another time when she is feeling better.
We have begun the nightmare struggle to get her American report birth abroad and i will write about it another time as i do not have the energy to go into that drama! Are dreams of going home in June are pretty much out the window and now we are waiting on the DNA test we had to order from the USA to arrive so we can start the process. That is whenever we receive the Indian birth certificate....as i said, a blog for another day! God has provided us with so much to get us this far that i am just eagerly waiting on more miraculous works from him. I have complete faith that he will help us through this process.
I still cant get over how blessed we are with this amazing gift that God has given us! Ella Mae is such a treasure! We just love her to death!!!!!

Aw, sorry the birth abroad is posing challenges. Hopefully it is all sorted soon and you'll be on that jet plane to introduce her to a world of loving family stateside! x
